About the Artists

  • Mayara Pineiro

    PHILADELPHIA BALLET

    Mayara’s courageous journey from Cuba to the U.S. was featured in the 2014 documentary Secundaria by filmmaker Mary Jane Doherty. She graced the cover of Pointe Magazine in 2016 and became a principal dancer with Philadelphia Ballet that same year.

  • Ashton Roxander

    PHILADELPHIA BALLET

    Ashton became a principal dancer with Philadelphia Ballet in 2023. His repertoire has included Siegfried in Angel Corrella’s Swan Lake, Cavalier in George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker®, Basilio in Angel Corella’s Don Quixote, and and Mercutio in Kenneth Macmillan’s Romeo & Juliet.

  • Yoon Jung Seo

    AMERICAN BALLET THEATRE

    Yoon Jung Seo graduated from the renowned Yewon School with top honors in ballet. She won several tournaments in South Korea and also won a scholarship at the Prix de Lausanne in 2019. She joined American Ballet Theatre in 2019.

  • Takumi Miyake

    AMERICAN BALLET THEATRE

    Of Kagawa, Japan, Takumi took part in the Youth American Grand Prix where he won first place and received a full scholarship to The Royal Ballet School in 2017. He received The London Ballet Circle Dame Ninette Award for the most outstanding male graduate of The Royal Ballet School in 2022. He joined American Ballet Theatre that same year.

  • Nicole Graniero

    WASHINGTON BALLET

    Nicole Graniero of New York City is in her ninth season with The Washington Ballet and is a guest artist with American Ballet Theatre. Her repertoire with the Washington Ballet includes principal roles in Ashton’s The Dream, Symphonic Variations, Balanchine’s Allegro Brillante, Apollo, Serenade, Tarantella, Petipa’s Le Corsaire, Vainonen’s Flames of Paris, Webre’s The Nutcracker and many more.

  • Ariel Martínez

    WASHINGTON BALLET

    Currently a company member of Washington Ballet, Ariel Martínez began his ballet studies at School of Ballet Alejo Carpentier and continued his education at Fernando Alonso National Ballet School. In 2014, he became a company member of Ballet Nacional de Cuba, becoming a first soloist in 2016. His repertoire includes Giselle, Swan Lake, The Nutcracker, Don Quixote, and Coppélia among many others.

  • Meredith Harrill

    DANCEASPEN

    Meredith trained at Central Florida Ballet and went on to attend the Kirov Academy of Ballet of Washington D.C. on scholarship. She has danced with the Joffrey Ballet of Chicago, BalletMet Columbus, State Street Ballet of Santa Barbara and Visceral Dance Chicago. She recently joined DanceAspen in Aspen, Colorado.

  • Jonah Delgado

    DANCEASPEN

    Jonah trained at the Academy of Dance Arts in Chicago and graduated from Marymount Manhattan College in New York City. He has danced with companies including Aspen Santa Fe Ballet in Colorado, Ballet X in Pennsylvania, and Mecklenburgisches Staatstheater Schwerin in Germany.

  • Sarah Nachbauer

    EAST BY NORTH DANCE THEATRE

    Sarah danced with the acclaimed dance company MOMIX, where she toured the world as a principal dancer and acted as dance captain for 15 years. She appeared on Season 8 of America’s Got Talent, music videos for the artist ARK, and on TV shows for HBO and Showtime. She is the co-founder and co-artistic director of East by North Dance Theatre.

  • Jon Eden

    EAST BY NORTH DANCE THEATRE

    Jon was awarded the Brian Tippen memorial scholarship award to attend Nutmeg Conservatory for the Arts in Connecticut. Upon graduation from Nutmeg, he joined MOMIX Dance Theater where he would create works and perform globally for over 15 years. Jon is the co-founder and co-director of East By North Dance Theatre.

  • Guillaume Juncar

    INTERNATIONAL GUEST ARTIST (CYR WHEEL)

    Guillaume has appeared on TV shows including En Buyuk Show Da (Turkey), Tu si que Vales (Italy) or Vendredi tout est Permis, a widely watched show in France. He is the prizewinner of the International Circus Festival of Massy in 2013 and of the Les Feux de la Rampe in 2015.
