ORLANDO COMPETITION ROUND REQUIREMENTS

One Round:

1 Group Entry of either ballet, neo–classical, modern, character/folklore, jazz, or lyrical. Contemporary pieces must be choreographed within 5 years of the competition date. (Please Note: Pas de deux is not accepted)

Time Limits:

Time limit of 2:30 minutes for Duet (2 dancers)

Time limit of 3:00 minutes for Trio (3 dancers)

Time limit of 4:00 minutes (4 - 7 dancers) or 6:00 minutes (8 - 40 dancers)

Number of Dancers Requirement: Minimum of 2 and Maximum of 40 dancers

Note: Choreography for the Ensemble Category need not be exclusively ballet. All styles are encouraged and welcome.

Failure to comply with competition regulations and/or time limit will result in scoring penalty or disqualification, depending upon Jury decision.
