▪ One Contemporary Solo choreographed within 5 years from the competition date and displaying contemporary elements.

Important Notes:

- Your contemporary solo does not have to be on pointe. It is recommended to be in a contemporary and/or modern style to demonstrate the dancer's abilities outside of the classical ballet dance style.
- Your Round II variation must be in a contrasting style to your Round I variation in order to show the competitor’s versatility. For example: Odette/Odille, or Prince Siegfried (Swan Lake)/Basil (Don Quixote). Balanchine variations are not allowed unless you have the rights and provide appropriate documentation.
Failure to comply with competition regulations, repertoire list and/or time limit will result in scoring penalty or disqualification, depending upon Jury decision.
