The Tenth Anniverary Edition of the World Ballet Competition's Finals will be held June 13-18, 2016 at The Orange County Convention Center's Linda Chapin Theater in Orlando, Florida, USA. Drawing participants representing twenty-four countries, the seven day international event is the final step for 200 participants competing for scholarships, cash prizes, job offers, and dance apparel totaling $150,000. In addition to evening competition rounds open to the public; a five day Master Class Workshop and International Job Fair is also held.
All competition rounds will be broadcast LIVE on the internet starting at 5:30pm daily (EST/New York time).

More About the World Ballet Competition:Since its launch in 2007 by Vasile Petrutiu, the World Ballet Competition has quickly become one of the most popular international ballet competitions because its use of technology, strict adherence to rules and fairness. These elements include 1) a computerized scoring system that immediately posts scores to the audience; 2) all competitor's names/school affiliations are kept secret until the competition concludes; 3) the entire competition is broadcast worldwide live on the internet. Past competitors have been hired by today’s most prominent dance companies including San Francisco Ballet, Boston Ballet, Royal Swedish Ballet, Kiev Opera and Ballet, Washington Ballet, Ballet West, Tulsa Ballet, Dresden Opera and Ballet, and Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre among many others.
